10th Armchair Half Marathon 28th November 2010.
Created in 2001 the Armchair Half Marathon has now become an important part of the Serge Vigot La Rochelle Marathon week-end. Last year, there were 24 Armchair athletes from all over France in this half-marathon, which has become one of the biggest such races in France. The organisers want to extend the best possible welcome to the Armchair athletes and so we offer them free of charge:
• the Saturday night Pasta-Party
• accommodation for the Saturday night
• a windcheater jacket, a basket of oysters, a medal and an official certificate
• prices for the first 10 finishers (Refer to ‘Prices’ on page 9)
We only ask for a 15€ registration fee.
Blind and partially-sighted athletes MarathonFor the 6th year running, we will be giving an early start for blind and partially-sighted athletes. Last year, there were 10 pairs of runners welcomed as part of the ‘Handisport’ operation. (We offer the same benefits as for the wheelchair athletes, but without any special prizes at the finishing line).
